Comprehensive Eye Exam

The comprehensive eye exam evaluates the general health and condition of your eyes along with all aspects of your vision.

External Exam – This is an evaluation of the whites of your eyes, the iris, pupil, eyelids, and eyelashes.
Internal Exam – This is an evaluation of the retina and optic nerve. If your doctor needs to take a closer look at your eyes, formerly, you would expect to have your eyes dilated; however, at our office, we can utilize retinal imaging.
Glaucoma Testing – This is a test of fluid pressure within your eyes to check for the possibility of glaucoma. Your doctor will use an instrument that doesn’t require an air puff into your eyes.
Visual Acuity – Your doctor will test your vision with different lenses to determine the best correction for you.
Medical Health History – Your doctor takes your overall health and that of your immediate family into consideration to properly assess your eye health.
